Una de las más grandes de las voces negras a nivel mundial acaba de dejar el mundo terrenal para emprender su camino hacia otro plano, se trata de Aretha Franklin la estadounidense de 72 años que dejó un gran legado entre los más grandes de la música Soul, R&B y góspel con 44 nominaciones, 18 Grammy y 75 millones de discos vendidos.

‘La Reina de soul’ falleció este martes en su casa en la ciudad de Detroit, Estados Unidos, así lo confirmó su representante a Associated Press. Días atrás informaciones circulaban donde se especulaba la gravedad de la cantante ya que se encontraba en compañía de sus amigos y familiares más cercanos.

• Franklin aún tuvo tiempo de grabar un último disco, 'A Brand New Me'

La última función de la cantante fue en el año 2017 en un concierto de la Fundación Elton Jhon sobre la lucha contra el sida en la ciudad de Nueva York.
